I love pumpkin carving. I think it is great to do stuff like you did when you were a kid. Here are our pumpkins. Aaron had to have an easy pattern to do so his is the smiley face.

There is no voting on the better one. Plus we all really know the better one anyway....
We carved pumpkins this weekend too! I too had to have an easy pattern b/c I'm not very patient. Miss you lots!
I like both of the pumpkins, but i'm not surprised you had to do a detailed pattern. Pefectionist! :)
